Deputy Debus has over 24 years of municipal law enforcement experience with 19 years of that in a leadership capacity. He is a certified Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (
TCOLE) instructor as well as an instructor in various disciplines including:
- Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events
- Police motorcycle operation
- Standard Response Protocol
- Stop the Bleed
Deputy Debus has been married for over twenty years and has two children.
