Education
Jamie graduated from the Texas Tech School of Law in 1993, and soon thereafter joined the Denton County District Attorney’s Office as a new misdemeanor prosecutor.
Career
She worked her way up to the felony trial division before becoming the Chief Child Abuse Prosecutor in 1998. Jamie left the office in January 2000, to open her own Criminal Defense Law Office. After winning the election in November 2006, Paul Johnson asked Jamie to be the new First Assistant under his administration.
