For the week of Saturday, January 14, through Friday, January 20, Denton County Public Health (DCPH) confirmed 808 new cases of COVID-19, 1,043 recoveries, and zero COVID-19 deaths, resulting in 235 fewer active cases.
Denton County is at a low COVID-19 community level, based on new COVID-19 hospital admissions, existing inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients, and new COVID-19 case rates in Denton County, with data available at dentoncounty.gov/COVIDstats. DCPH also provides daily COVID-19 updates, including detailed data for cases, recoveries, and jurisdictions online.

To minimize spread of COVID-19, DCPH urges community members to:
- Get vaccinated and boosted when eligible
- Test five days after exposure or if you have symptoms of COVID-19
- Isolate, quarantine, and wear a mask when recommended
