DCPH COVID-19 Daily Update

For the week of Saturday, July 16, through Friday, July 22, Denton County Public Health (DCPH) confirmed 2,295 new cases of COVID-19, 1,925 recoveries, and five COVID-19 deaths, resulting in 376 more active cases. 

Denton County is at a medium COVID-19 community level, based on the CDC’s reporting week ending yesterday, driven by new COVID-19 case rates in Denton County,  with data available at dentoncounty.gov/COVIDstats. DCPH also provides daily COVID-19 updates, including detailed data for cases, recoveries, and jurisdictions online. 

To minimize spread of COVID-19, DCPH urges community members to:

  • Get vaccinated and boosted when eligible
  • Test five days after exposure or if you have symptoms of COVID-19
  • Isolate, quarantine, and wear a mask when recommended
