Section 1.10 of the Texas Property Tax Code requires our office to provide electronic files to be made available to the general public.
File Types
There are two types of files that we provide.
Tax Roll
This roll provides information on all properties collected by our office. The information included in this file is as follows:
- Account numbers
- Exemptions
- Owner names and address
- Tax levy amounts
- Taxable value of property
Delinquent Tax Roll
The delinquent tax roll provides the same information as above, but only on accounts that have a delinquent balance due.
Available Formats
Tax Rolls are available in the following formats:
- Data File on CD - $5
- File Transfer Protocol (FTP) - No Charge
Unfortunately the size of the tax roll files prevents our office from printing or emailing them to requestors.
Viewing Files
Both of these Tax Roll files must be opened using a standard text editor (note pad, ultra edit…and so on). Each file is formatted in a fixed width American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) character code and requires a file layout that is also available on the FTP site. It will require a programmer to pull the data into a format that can be manipulated.
Requestions & Additional Information
To request the tax roll or delinquent tax roll or if you have any questions about the data provided please email the Property Tax office.
