Please be aware that wait times may be longer than usual when conducting business in our offices.  We value your time and know how important it is to complete your transactions.  In most cases, you can renew your registration and pay your property taxes online. 

E-Checks are FREE *Credit Cards have a 2.3% convenience fee.

Tax Office Closures: Due to staffing shortages, the Denton County Tax Assessor Collector’s office will begin rolling closures effective May 4, 2022.  For the months of May, June and July, select office locations will close each Wednesday.  Please see the following schedule:

Convenience Fees

Free e-Check. Credit Card transactions are subject to a convenience fee up to 2.30% on property tax and motor vehicle transactions.

Receipts of Funds

Internet property tax accounts are paid pending receipt of funds from the financial institution.
