Family contact is an essential component of the Courage to Change (CTC) program. CTC residents will have the opportunity for visitation with their immediate family members every weekend, with the length of the visit increasing as the resident successfully moves through the program.
CTC residents may also have contact with their immediate family members through phone calls and mail. On the higher levels of the program, CTC residents earn the privilege to spend time with their family outside of the facility on the weekends.
To help facilitate phone contact, we have contracted with a phone services vendor called Smart Connections. This phone service will be explained during the admission process to CTC.
The Smart Connections phone service allows CTC residents to make two outgoing phone calls per week, to a parent or guardian, at no cost to the child's family.
