Additional Information

  • Bids are opened in an open forum at the Administrative Courthouse, at the time stated in the bid specifications. Suppliers are welcome (but not required) to attend Bid Openings.
  • Contracts resulting from bid solicitations are awarded by Commissioners Court during the regularly scheduled Tuesday meetings. The agenda for these meetings are posted at the Courthouse-on-the-Square or on this website.
  • Debriefings are for review of the evaluation of the requesting firm’s proposal after all decisions are final.  Denton County will be glad to schedule a debriefing with any firm who requests such within two weeks after Commissioners Court has awarded a contract (or approved ranking of pre-qualified firms).  However, we ask that your firm request and review the evaluation documents prior to scheduling a formal debriefing with the designated Buyer.
