County Auditor / Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

The County Auditor:

  • Administers a collection program for court fines and court costs
  • Audits the accounts of all officials who receive and disburse County funds
  • Audits the payroll and all other claims
  • Has responsibility for all financial transactions of the County
  • Prepares monthly and annual financial reports for the County
  • Processes all accounts payables

Terms

The County Auditor is appointed for a two-year term by the Board of District Judges.
